The mission of the Administrative Services Division is to provide support services for departmental programs.
The Director's office is staffed by 2 full-time positions and organizes and directs the four sections of the division, ensuring that they provide the necessary, centralized core/support services to the Department of Revenue and its affiliated boards, corporations and commissions so that each entity may focus their staff resources toward accomplishing their respective program goals.
The Data Processing section is staffed by 3 full-time positions and is responsible for programming and maintenance support for the LAN/WAN department wide information system, security, trouble-shooting, planning, and reviewing all hardware and software purchases to insure compatibility with existing systems and departmental long-term goals.
The Fiscal section is staffed by 3 full-time positions and is responsible for ensuring compliance with Alaska Statutes and Alaska Administrative Codes regarding fiscal issues, accounts receivable, accounts payable, field warrants, certification, RSA's (Reimbursable Service Agreements), budget preparation, travel accounting, and Professional Services contracting.
The Procurement section is staffed by 1 full-time position. Procurement is responsible for departmental compliance with Alaska Statute Title 36 Procurement, ADA and space standards, office leases, property control, competitive bidding, and purchase of office equipment, supplies, furniture, and forms.
